About

Built in Wyoming. Born from the rig.

My name is Jesse. During the day, I'm a directional driller — guiding drill bits thousands of feet underground through rock formations most people will never see. It's hard, technical, unforgiving work. And it taught me something about how I want to build everything else in my life: with precision, with science, and zero tolerance for anything that doesn't actually work.

Sól started in Casper, Wyoming — not in a lab, not in a boardroom, but in the hours between shifts, when I started asking a question that wouldn't leave me alone: why does almost everything in skincare promise science and deliver nothing?

The science obsession

I'm not a chemist. But I read like one. I started pulling research papers on NAD+ precursors, peptide signaling, mitochondrial energy in skin cells. I learned about 5-Deazaflavin — a molecule being studied in longevity research that almost no one in skincare had touched. I learned about GHK-Cu copper peptides, Matrixyl, and what actually happens at the cellular level when skin ages.

What I found was simple: most skincare ignores the root cause. It treats symptoms — dryness, dullness, wrinkles — with surface-level ingredients. Sól was built to go deeper. To address what's actually happening in your cells, not just what shows up in the mirror.

Small batch. Wyoming made. No shortcuts.

Every Sól formula is handcrafted in small batches. Not because we can't scale — but because we refuse to dilute what works. We source premium actives. We test every formula ourselves. And when we make a claim, we back it with science.

The Immortal Toner is the world's first patent-protected toner built around 5-Deazaflavin. The Sól Skin Serum stacks four of the most studied longevity peptides in one lightweight formula. The Woodsman Beard Oil was born from Wyoming — black spruce, cedarwood, frankincense, and a peptide complex that actually reduces shedding by up to 28%.

Everything we make is clean. Vegan. Cruelty-free. Formulated from the ground up with one standard: does it actually work?

The bigger mission

I'm building Sól to get off the rig. Not because I hate the work — but because I believe in what this brand can become. A company that proves you don't have to choose between luxury and science, between clean beauty and real results.

We're based in Wyoming. We distill our own rose water and essential oils. We're small, we're independent, and we're obsessively focused on quality.

If you found Sól, you're probably someone who reads labels. Who asks questions. Who doesn't accept "because it smells nice" as a reason to put something on your skin.

You're exactly who we built this for.
